FREE Museum programme on Singapore's marine life

Discover Singapore's marine biodiversity and the science behind conserving them!

How well do you know about Singapore's marine biodiversity? Why is conserving marine life so crucial, and how are human activities shaping their future? What innovative methods do scientists use to detect and protect marine life in our local and regional waters?

Dive into these questions and more with the Outreach and Education Unit of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum! Supported by HSBC, this 2.5-hour programme offers an interactive, hands-on experience exploring marine biodiversity, conservation efforts, and research in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Engage in themed gallery tours, discover our exclusive specimen showcase featuring research specimens from past Museum expeditions, and gain an insider’s view into the exciting world of marine science research.

Sign-ups are on a first come first served basis, capped at 40 participants per session. There will be a total of four runs of these workshops, so look out for the announcements to register!

Note: Sessions 1,2 & 4 (*) are recommended for participants aged 18 & above, while session 3 is recommended for participants aged 10 & above.
