NParks Heron Watch (25 Jul - 2 Aug)

Our beautiful wild herons! Learn more about them and make a difference by helping in this survey. Suitable for families. Training is provided. A great way to visit some of our amazing shores and wetlands.

Who can join in?

Anyone aged 12 and above can sign up and volunteer. Registration closes 15 July.


A training workshop on bird identification and survey techniques will be organised for beginners. You will be assigned a survey site closer to the date of the survey.

The training sessions will be held on 18 July (3 pm to 5 pm) and 19 July (9.30 am to 11.30am). You will be required to attend only one session. Those who have attended the previous training sessions are not required to attend.

All training sessions will be held online and the details to join the training will be provided to registered volunteers.
