16 Jun (Sun): Turtle Tails - Biology and Conservation of Sea Turtles in the 21st Century

Did you know that we have sea turtles in Singapore's waters? Join us at the Singapore Botanic Gardens to learn more about marine turtle management and conservation of these beautiful marine creatures in the region by Dr. Nicholas Pilcher.
This talk is free and registration is not required.

About the speaker: Dr Nicolas Pilcher is a renowned regional turtle expert working in Sabah and Sarawak, and who has close to 3 decades of experience in marine turtle management in the region. He has a PhD in marine turtle conservation and is a past president of the International Sea Turtle Society. He is credited with implementing a successful turtle conservation program in East Malaysia, and currently sits in the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group.
