Come celebrate our beautiful and vital Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve with a week of exciting happenings! Activities include wader watching, birdwatching, walks to enjoy the sunrise and sunset and a chance to get muddy in a survey for critters that live in the mud. For the kids, there will be storytelling, arts and crafts. Also talks, booths, exhibitions, learn and play stations. All activities for the celebrations are free, but some require registration. Come celebrate the return of the shorebirds with ‘Waders Watch’, a signature workshop only available during the migratory season! Learn how to identify our feathered travellers, as well as understand their habits and characteristics! This workshop will cover an introduction to birdwatching, followed by a practical session around the Reserve where you can hone your newly acquired skills. As we are celebrating Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve’s 25th Anniversary this year, join us for ‘Waders Watch’ and bring home exclusive 25th Anniversary collectibles!
Children aged 5 and above are welcome to join in the fun with their family. Binoculars will be provided for participants, but do bring along your own if you have them.

9 Oct (Tue): Benthic Mud Explorer
All Explorers on board! We are embarking on an adventure to investigate the benthic organisms living in our mudflat and improve our knowledge on the food availability for our visiting shorebirds. Come join us as we wade through the mudflats to collect and sieve through samples to pick out organisms such as worms, crabs, shells and many more!

10 Oct (Wed): Kranji Marshes Walk – Migratory Marsh Birds
Join experienced guides as we embark on a bird watching session to the core conservation area of Kranji Marshes, an ecologically sensitive area, to find migratory marsh birds. Limited to 20 participants. The walk will be cancelled if it rains. Registration is compulsory and visitors who turn up without registration will be turned away.
