22-23 Oct: Sustainability Fair 2018 by Eco-SIM

Thanks to Eco-SIM and Tan Jia Hui for including Celebrating Singapore Shores in their upcoming annual flagship Sustainability Fair.
IYOR intern Choo Yi Feng will share
about our shores on 22 Oct (Mon) 3pm
Held at SIM campus it features environmentally friendly retailers selling hipster insta-worthy products to kickstart your eco-warrior journey, to governmental bodies and NGOs sharing their causes.

The theme of this fair is about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) with a focus on SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 13 Climate Change & SDG 14 Life Below Water.

Time: 11 to 4pm both days
Location: BLK B Student Hub, in front of Subway

Special Programmes

🐳 TALK ON SG'S MARINE WILDLIFE - 22 Oct, 3 to 3.30pm
Celebrating Singapore Shores Will be giving a short presentation on the rich biodiversity that can be found on Singapore's local intertidal reefs. Pop by to find out how to sign up for intertidal walks as to experience our biodiversity up close!

👕 UPCYCLING WORKSHOP - both days
Need to clear your wardrobe but do not have an outlet to bring your clothes to? Bring them down to SUSS's Revert SG booth where they will be conducting upcycling workshops. Bring an old tee and leave with a tote bag or friendship band!

📚 BOOK SWAP - both days
Don't throw you old book away, swap it! Bring one down to our fair to exchange with another one. We do not discriminate books - textbooks, fictional to non-fictional books, magazines such as The Economist or Nat Geo, bring em all down for swapping.
