21 Apr (Sat): Free screening of “A Plastic Ocean” at the Singapore Botanic Gardens

The theme for Earth Day 2018 is “End Plastic Pollution”. Plastic is threatening our planet's survival, from poisoning and injuring marine life to disrupting human hormones, from littering our beaches and landscapes to clogging our streams and landfills.
A Plastic Ocean documents the newest science, proving how plastics, once they enter the oceans, break up into small particulates that enter the food chain where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are stored in seafood’s fatty tissues, and eventually consumed by us.

Come for this thought-provoking and powerful documentary. Be aware and together, we can make a difference. A Singapore Botanic Gardens Movie: “A Plastic Ocean” is organised by Keppel Land and Keppel REIT

This event is held in conjunction with Earth Day 2018.
